The GT Asia Championship is the league's third to start major series. It was derived from the Super GT Series concept and thus mirrors the usual Super GT Series weekend schedules, which contains a 25 minute Qualifying, followed by a race over various lengths. As variation though, it only features GT3 and GT300 cars.

GT Asia Championship (2021–present):

After the successful launch of the 2020–21 GT4 Cup, it quickly became clear that more series were needed and thus the GT Asia Championship, along other series, became a main season series.

Race weekend

On Saturdays, drivers have a 25-minute qualifying session. The qualifying session decides the grid order for the race, run over various lengths.
