The IndyCar Championship is the league's second to start major series. It is heavily orientated towards the IndyCar Series concept and thus mirrors the usual IndyCar Series weekend schedules, which contains a x minute Qualifying, followed by a race over various lengths.

History
IndyCar Championship (2021–present):
After the successful launch of the 2020–21 GT4 Cup, it quickly became clear that more series were needed and thus the IndyCar Series, along other series, became a main season series.
Race weekend
On Sundays, drivers have a x-minute qualifying session. The qualifying session decides the grid order for the race, run over a time of x minutes.
Point system

All races will be run with a scoring system similar to the one used in FIA series:
